Dr. Annemarie Hofmann, who has been delighting generations of students for genetic engineering for almost 30 years, is retiring. Annemarie was and is an extraordinary person who can be described as a scientist with great passion and diligence and as a pioneer of Drosophilagenetics in Germany. We all will painfully miss her as a lecturer, scientist and colleague. All the best for your future.
